Tell us a little bit about yourself:
I live in the La Costa area with my husband and my 2 little ladies; Sascha and Paityn. I am first generation American with a Russian father and German mother. I lived in the south until I was 9 and moved to Colorado where my younger brother and parents still live. I graduated Magna Cum Laude from a private school, the University of Denver. During and after college I worked in the fashion industry and lived overseas. My upbringing and world travel gives me a very unique outlook on life that I treasure!
What is your professional bio:
I was raised in a family that believed in a holistic lifestyle so becoming a health and wellness coach was a natural choice. My mother is from Germany and she raised our family with organic food grown mostly in a huge backyard garden complete with a compost system. She also had a vast knowledge of plants and herbal remedies passed on through generations which she also instilled in me. I began my journey with Young Living Essential Oils almost 3 years ago after a friend suggested them to help support my then, 6 year-old’s immunity which had been severely weakened from repeated 21-day rounds of antibiotics to deal with complications her allergies created from just a simple common cold, in addition to negative side-effects of the respiratory and sinus medications.
Why did you start your own business?
Witnessing the overall health transformation not only in my oldest daughter, but my entire family, by converting to a chemical-free lifestyle through the use of essential oils had a tremendous impact on me. I feel it’s my duty to teach and show others how to naturally support the body’s own ability to heal itself.
What are you most proud of in your business? I am most proud of the relationships I have built with my team and watching them achieve their goals.
What’s your super power?
My integrity.
What is one thing you can’t live without?
The love of, and for, My family… And cheese. i can’t live without cheese.
What is your favorite thing to do when you’re not running your business?
Prior to having kids: Travel…I’ve always had Wanderlust. For now, I’m equally happy having downtime with the Darby-Dolls and sharing a beautiful meal with my family and friends no matter where we are.
What is one thing you wish you knew when you first started?
I wish I would have known how to start a business, LOL!
